Another great train film. This was made in the late 60s, so along with the usual train shots, there's some extra psychedelia in some of the shots (but not all of it). Some nice shots of trains, it's employees, locations etc. All done to promote a paper company's book about train. Love how the narrator describing the paper type used in some of the photos in the book. Like, WE NEED TO KNOW THIS. So it's a groovy mesh of industries, man.

The Best of Industrial Films
This film shows us the interesting world of the railroad by using innovative photographic techniques. The purpose is to show how stills can be reproduced with dramatic artistry on Champion International paper stock for books, etc. The whole feel is chic yet charming. The narrator, Gerald Mohr, has a warm, classic voice. The storyline is tight and cohesive and the custom score, which includes a folksy, jazzy version of "I've Been Working on the Railroad" is cool. All in all, as good as gets.
